Watch This Video To See The Easter Egg Transform Into An Easter Joke

One of my favorite things about Easter is the number of egg-cellent Easter puns out there. Whether you celebrate Easter as a religious holiday or as a chocolate filled spring festivity, there’s one thing we all have in common: kids and adults love a good Easter joke! That’s why we created this easy-to-make printable Easter craft that is centered around telling Easter jokes.

I find that preschoolers and elementary students especially enjoy watching these interactive DIY Easter cards transform from one image to another and reveal the punchline at the same time.

We made two sample Easter joke crafts to give you an idea of what the outcome will look like. First you will see an egg with a question like “Why did the Easter egg hide?” and then when you open the card it reveals a little chick saying “Because he was a little chicken!”. The other sample Easter craft starts off with an egg with the question “What music do bunnies listen to?” and then the card opens up to reveal a rabbit saying “Hip hop!”.

Your kids and students can download the sample Easter crafts we made and color them in OR if they’re feeling extra creative, they can write their own jokes on the printable blank template that we’re also providing (scroll down to download for free!). If they need some inspiration for some Easter humor, check out our highly popular compilation of 50 Easter jokes and Easter puns for kids.
